丁安目前是北京建筑大学环境与能源工程学院/前沿交叉创新研究院的教授/博士生导师。他于2015年获得哈尔滨工业大市政工程博士学位，并留校任教工作至2024年。他曾作为瑞士联邦政府卓越奖学金的Fellow，与瑞士联邦水中心Eawag的Eberhard Morgenroth教授（领域顶级期刊Water Research的前任主编）开展合作研究。他的研究兴趣主要集中在低碳饮用水/污水处理技术，涵盖污水处理与再利用的膜技术（包括膜生物反应器MBR、膜污染控制及病毒与病原体去除、重力流膜过滤GDM工艺）、低能耗污泥和粪便处理技术（如污泥调理与脱水优化），以及基于生命周期评估的污泥资源回收等方面。目前已发表100余篇SCI论文，其中5篇被列为ESI高被引论文，H因子39。主持了包括国家自然科学基金3项（面上2项，青年1项）、国家外国专家局项目3项、黑龙江省自然科学基金2项（优秀青年，面上）、中国博士后基金面上一等/特别资助、黑龙江省博士后基金面上/特别资助、以及哈尔滨市自然科学基金青年后备人才项目等。他具有较强的国际合作关系网，与欧洲、澳洲、北美、中东、香港等地保持紧密合作，兼任欧洲华人生态环境协会副主席、国际水协会中国青年委员会委员等，国家自然科学基金、黑龙江/广西/河北/四川省等自然科学基金评审专家。

Dr. Ding An is currently a professor and Ph.D. advisor at the School of Environmental and Energy Engineering / Frontier Interdisciplinary Innovation Research Institute at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA). He obtained his Ph.D. in Municipal Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in 2015 and worked at HIT as a faculty member until 2024. He has also worked as a fellow under the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships, collaborating with Professor Eberhard Morgenroth at the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag), who was the former editor-in-chief of the top journal Water Research. Dr. Ding's research interests primarily focus on low-carbon drinking water and wastewater treatment technologies, including membrane technologies for wastewater treatment and reuse (such as membrane bioreactors, membrane fouling control, and virus/pathogen removal, as well as gravity-driven membrane filtration processes), low-energy sludge and fecal treatment technologies (such as sludge conditioning and dewatering optimization), and sludge resource recovery based on life cycle assessment. He has published over 100 SCI papers, with 5 of them being listed as ESI highly cited papers, and an H-index of 39. He has led multiple research projects, including three grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (two general projects and one young scientist project), three projects from the National Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, two grants from the Heilongjiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation (outstanding youth and general projects), and several other research fundings such as the China Postdoctoral Fund and local funding programs. He has a strong international collaboration network, maintaining close partnerships with researchers in Europe, Australia, North America, the Middle East, Hong Kong, and other regions. Additionally, he serves as the vice president of the European Chinese Ecological Environment Association, a member of the China Young Committee of the International Water Association, and an expert reviewer for various natural science funding programs including the National Natural Science Foundation and provincial funding programs in Heilongjiang, Guangxi, Hebei, and Sichuan.
